RFCs often cover protocols with a well-known acronym, but the acronym itself is rarely given in the RFC title, just its expansion. Therefore, if you know the acronym but not what it stands for, you may not be able to find the RFC. This table gives the most common protocol acronyms and links you to their RFC.
